Synthesis Coaching Associates: Coaching with a Transpersonal toolkit- The Will to Grow: Transformational Life Coaching

Event Start Date: Tuesday, September 24, 2019 – 11:30 AM

Event End Date: Saturday, July 11, 2020 – 2:30 PM

Event Description:

You’re a coach, or other professional in the helping professions. Ever wonder who it really is that’s sitting in front of you in session? Ever wonder why it is that so many of our clients seem to feel something’s… missing… in life?

Founded by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli, M.D. in the mid-1900s, Psychosynthesis, a transpersonal psychology, brings some valuable insights into the coaching conversation.

“Transpersonal” is defined as “denoting, or dealing with states or areas of consciousness beyond the limits of personal identity”. Considering the variety of masks we all wear as we go through the day, this begs the question of “what” or “who” is the “identity”.

The Psychosynthesis Life Coach has the understanding and the tools to go beyond the presenting issue brought by the client and to help the client understand “who” is presenting the issue. The result is a life-changing experience, as the client wakens to the realization that, aside from being a partner, soccer mom, father, good daughter, rebel, executive, entrepreneur, manager, etc. they are a center of pure awareness and will- a “self”. In fact, this process is called “self-realization”, and the cornerstone of Psychosynthesis is that our self has the ability and the will to both discover and to follow our life’s calling: our “Call of Self”. Which doesn’t necessarily mean go off to the South Seas or sit on a mountaintop: it means be Who We Truly Are in our completely unique journey through life, realizing our highest potential.

Developed by Dr. Dorothy Firman of The Synthesis Center (Amherst, MA), and tested and proven for more than three decades, “The Will to Grow: Transformational Life Coaching” is now available from Synthesis Coaching Associates in affiliation with The Synthesis Center as an ICF-accredited 160-hour ACSTH Psychosynthesis Coach training program. Structured in two levels of 60 hours each, the remaining 40 hours consist of co-coaching and coaching supervision.

Level 1 introduces participants to the principles, tools, and methodologies of Psychosynthesis as applied to coaching, and students will begin co-coaching with focus on specific techniques in the context of the 11 Core Competencies, earning 60 CCE credits on completion of Level 1.

Level 2 takes the level 1 group to the next level, honing their skills as coaches with emphasis on integration of Psychosynthesis methodologies with the 11 Core Competencies. Level 2 is also open to students with prior training in Psychosynthesis. These will receive 60 CCE credits and a certificate of participation, but full certification as Psychosynthesis Life Coach (PLC) requires both Level 1 and Level 2 training. Students graduating as PLC will be awarded 120 CCE credits.

Coaching con un toolkit Transpersonale: The Will to Grow: Transformational Life Coaching

Coaching with a Transpersonal Toolkit- The Will to Grow: Transformational Life Coaching

Ongoing program dates vary.  Contact us for enrollment date options!

You’re a coach, or other professional in the helping professions. Ever wonder who it really is that’s sitting in front of you in session? Ever wonder why it is that so many of our clients seem to feel something’s… missing… in life?

Founded by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli, M.D. in the mid-1900s, Psychosynthesis, a transpersonal psychology, brings valuable insights into the coaching conversation.

“The Will to Grow: Transformational Life Coaching” is structured in 4 tracks tailored to meet the needs of those entering the coaching profession as well as seasoned coaches seeking truly transformational and effective tools and methodologies.

Graduates are awarded certificates as Psychosynthesis Life Coach (PLC), and are not only fully prepared for professional practice, but possess the training requirements for ICF accreditation.

The 80-hour PLC Practitioner program introduces participants to the principles, tools, and methodologies of Psychosynthesis as applied to coaching, providing a solid grounding in the ICF Core Competencies while integrating transformational techniques in the coaching process.

Entirely on-demand, participants start and finish when they want, studying at their own pace. The PLC Practitioner program consists of 60 hours of online, live session work, a minimum of 15 hours of peer coaching, and 5 hours of ICF PCC-level coaching supervision. Graduates receive certification as Psychosynthesis Life Coach Practitioners, and have the training hours necessary for ACC accreditation. This program awards 60 CCE credits.

The PLC Practitioner program with the ACC package includes 10 hours of Mentor Coaching required for ICF ACC accreditation.

The 160-hour PLC Advanced Practitioner program builds on the abilities acquired in the Practitioner program, deepening knowledge of the transformational skills and methodologies of Psychosynthesis, integrated with advanced coaching techniques which synthesize Eastern and Western holistic approaches to Self-realization and wellbeing.

The PLC Advanced Practitioner program consists of 125 hours of online training, a minimum of 30 hours of peer coaching and 5 hours of ICF PCC-level supervision, providing graduates with the training hours they need for ACC or PCC accreditation. Students graduating from this program receive certification as Psychosynthesis Life Coach Advanced Practitioners and receive 120 CCE credits.

The PLC Advanced Practitioner program with full PCC option includes 10 hours of Mentor Coaching required for ACC or PCC accreditation.
