• a minimum of 12 hours coaching with at least two volunteer clients

Our expert coaching programme gives you 60 hours of coach-specific training, 10 hours of coach mentoring, and a recommendation of a minimum of 12 hours coaching with at least two volunteer clients.

Holistic Stress Management Instructor Certification Workshop

Event Start Date: Thursday, April 02, 2020 1:00 PM

Event End Date: Sunday, April 05, 2020 3:00 PM

Additional Dates & Times: May 14-17, 2020 (Boulder, Colorado)

This certification workshop is designed to train health coaches with an interest and background in “Holistic Stress Management” to teach, direct or facilitate quality presentations/workshops at their worksite or private practice. The focus of this workshop is holistic—honoring the integration, balance and harmony of mind, body, spirit and emotions for optimal well-being. The World Heath Organization cites stress as “a global epidemic.” Others now call it the “black plague of the 21st century.” In light of current world issues, from international terrorism, economic uncertainty, climate change, work-life imbalance, increases in chronic diseases and everything in between, the words “change” and “stress” are becoming synonymous. It is no secret that people’s coping skills for change are underdeveloped and certainly underutilized. The purpose of this workshop is two-fold: 1) to gain a sound background in a holistic approach to stress management, addressing not only the causes of stress through effective coping skills, but the symptoms of stress with effective relaxation techniques, and 2) to refine excellent teaching skills in which to share this knowledge most effectively, whether it is through a one-hour presentation or a 16 week college credit course.

If you want to help your clients make successful career transitions and you care about doing it right….read on.

The world of work is changing. We have more choices of where we work, how we work and who we work with. But the choices can be overwhelming and confusing and the pace of change can be frightening.

People are looking for more in their careers but without a clear strategy and plan, informed by personal insight and self-knowledge, how can they be sure they are on the right career path or that their decision are appropriate for their skill sets, aspirations and the well-being of themselves and their families.

That’s where Your Career Plan comes in. Using Erica Sosna’s Career Matters method and the Career Equation, we apply a tried and tested, interactive, approach to career navigation in the 21st century.
Developed by coaches, for coaches, this accredited career coaching 121 programme will help you to work with your 121 clients on their key career transitions.

We will take you through the three steps in our process:

★ First, we look at who they are and what work has taught them about themselves using our unique career equation method;
★ Then we define what they are looking for in the form of specific career goals and…
★ Third we design a career plan of action and a set of implementation strategies to get them there.

Whether your clients are looking for a new role in a new industry, to take the next step into leadership or to make a lateral move into a different role or into self employment, this method equips them to own their career and feel empowered to make the decisions they need in order to make progress.

Diamond Leadership: Certification in Power IntelligenceⓇ @ Altabira

Event Start Date: Wednesday, May 13, 2020 9:00 AM
Event End Date: Friday, May 15, 2020 5:00 PM

The Certification in Power Intelligence® seminar trains and certifies coaches, consultants, HR professionals, and anyone working with leaders to administer the Diamond Power Index®, a multi-rater and self-rater assessment that assists leaders in developing their effective use of power. The entire three-day training covers the background and research underlying the instrument, how to administer the test, how to interpret scores and reports, how to coach and train leaders and leadership teams, as well as marketing support for using it in organizations. Successful completion of the seminar will result in certification for using the assessment.

Module 1 is a day and a half introduction for those who want to learn how to coach and train leaders on their use of power, and work with issues related to power in organizations. It covers the background theory, addresses main behaviors related to power use and how to work with them, and presents methods for coaching and training. It does not include how to administer the assessment, interpret reports, and does not lead to certification in the assessment. If you are in attendance at Module 1, and decide you’d like to stay for the full certification, you can simply pay the difference and continue with that seminar, or attend one later in the year at another location. The schedule for each day is 9:00am-5:00pm.
