‘Intuitive Coach Advance’ is the 2nd part of ACTP ‘Intuitive Coach’. This part is dedicated to experienced coaches, applicants for ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential. It is completed with ICF PCC Performance Evaluation Exam conducted by our school.

It consists of 68 hours of stand alone ‘Coach Specific Training’ including 10 hours of Mentor Coaching, (68 CCEUs in Core Competencies, ACSTH, ACTP).

The programme is delivered at advanced coach competency level. The graduates of ‘Intuitive Coach Advance’ receive ACTP Certificate entitling them to apply for ICF PCC accreditation.

We welcome graduates of a variety of previous coaching educations, including not affiliated with ICF. This way we enable a wide range of practicing coaches to apply for ICF accreditation directly at the ICF PCC level (without a need to get credentialed at ACC level first).

Event Start Date: Tuesday, August 21, 2018 – 9:00 AM

Event End Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2018 – 5:00 PM

Event Description:

The EQ-i 2.0® Experience

The EQ-i 2.0® Certification Program is a blended learning solution that enables participants to do parts of the program online, together with a 2-day interactive in-class component. Through completing the EQ-i 2.0® Certification Program with a CPP Asia Pacific expert facilitator, you will:

– Obtain an in-depth understanding of the instrument through first hand experience
– Learn and practice highly effective feedback approaches using the instrument
– Learn how to apply the instrument in organisational and individual development initiatives
– Gain a certificate of qualification to purchase and use the EQ-i 2.0®instrument

Program Resources include:
– The EQ Edge (3rd Ed.)
– EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360 Workbook
– EQ-i 2.0® Workplace Report

Why the EQ-i 2.0® Instrument?

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.

The EQ-i 2.0® instrument builds on the success and insights of the BarOn EQ-i® instrument by introducing an updated model of emotional intelligence.

It introduces some differences that stem from changes, based on extensive feedback, to assessment items, updated norms and rigorous reliability and validity studies.

The EQ-i 2.0® Model:

The EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360™ instruments measure emotional intelligence (EI) and how it can impact people and the workplace. The 1-5-15 factor structure the EQ-i 2.0® features is one overarching EI score (Total EI), broken down into five composite scores which, in turn, are broken down into a total of 15 subscales.

Applications of Emotional Intelligence:

– Leadership development
– Selection
– Organisational development
– Executive coaching
– Team building
– Student development

While emotional intelligence is not the sole predictor of human performance and development potential, it is proven to be a key indicator in these areas. Emotional intelligence is not a static factor – to the contrary, one’s emotional intelligence changes over time and can be developed in targeted areas.

ICF Orange County Chapter: Improvisation for Coaches @ WHW 2803 | Irvine | California | United States

Event Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2018 – 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Pacific)

Speaker: Carrie Spaulding

Event Description:

Like all humans, we coaches are creatures of habit, subject to our own filters, learning, egos, and blind spots. How can coaching professionals—from the newest to the most seasoned—step out of our default patterns and comfort zones to truly dance in the moment? In this highly experiential workshop, coaches will learn the basic rules and skills of improvisation, developing core competencies in an entirely new way. By letting go of control and engaging in true collaboration, coaches will experience greater freedom, creativity, listening, presence, power, and willingness to take risks and go deeper into the unknown. Coaches will walk away with enhanced skills, a greater awareness of their personal blind spots and growth opportunities, and a toolkit of exercises to use for their own continued development and with clients.

Learning Objectives:

• Increase Coaching Presence and Active Listening competencies and confidence

Event Details:

ICF Accredited Mindfulness Training for Coaches.

The program is for coaches looking to add depth to their skills as a coach. Many of the core competencies recognized to be a great coach are ‘mindful’ by nature. By learning a framework, a language and a skill set for mindfulness, and then practicing those skills, coaches will bring greater awareness, presence, curiosity and openness to the following ICF Core Competencies:

3. Establishing Trust & Intimacy with the Client
4. Coaching Presence
5. Active Listening
6. Powerful Questioning
8. Creating Awareness

By being more mindful, they will be better coaches. Reciprocally, by being more present as coaches they will deepen their mindfulness practice. The two support each other.

Mindfulness skills will also support the coaches in other areas of their life, including how the react to stress in their business or home life, and manage their focus for tasks required to support the coaching practice (presentations, networking, business management).

Event Start Date: Tuesday, September 18, 2018 – 9:00 AM

Event End Date: Friday, September 21, 2018 – 6:00 PM

Event Description:

An Advanced Coaching/Counseling/Consulting Tool

RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory) is an extremely quick and effective body-centered technique that frees clients of negative thoughts, feelings and memories. Clients can regenerate their neurologically grounded sense of self in a profound way. Neuroscience findings support the efficacy of RIM by explaining that the brain and nervous system is “plastic.” Researchers have discovered that recalling a memory biochemically destabilizes it, so it can be recreated in an affirming way.

We can help clients create new positive body memory to replace old hurt and pain while Factual memory remains stable. In the RIM process, clients integrate a new body-centered feeling that automatically stimulates a healthy body, mind and spirit. They begin to trust that life wants them to thrive and succeed: 4 day training plus 3 months of online individual RIM coaching.
