This dynamic program, Leveraging the Power of Polarity Thinking, will equip you to deal successfully with polarities — opposing forces that create tension in complex situations. You will earn a certification in PACTTM (Polarity Approach for Continuity And Transformation) Foundations and Professional Applications through this program. Leveraging the Power of Polarity Thinking is a partnership program from Mason’s Center for the Advancement of Well-Being and Polarity Partnerships, the source of this powerful leadership theory.

• Two and a half days of intensive, hands-on, interactive learning
• Free access to the Polarity Resource Portal for one year — create your own personal polarity map library, use polarity map templates, view foundational videos and tutorials, review case studies and articles, and utilize assessment tools

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes circumstances mean you need to transfer or cancel your registration. We try to be as flexible as possible when this happens. Requests to transfer your registration to another scheduled course must be made via e-mail no later than 15 business days before the program start date. You may transfer into another course, in the same format (i.e online or in-person) that will be held within the following 6 calendar months. If you are unable to attend the program to which you transfer, you may send a replacement. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee.

Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $250 CAD administrative fee up to 10 business days before the course start date. If you find that you are unable to attend and it is less than 10 business days before the program start date, you may send a replacement to attend in your place. Empowering Students Through Coaching is a research-based comprehensive coach training for life coaching and ADHD coaching. We train participants using the ICF core competencies of coaching and the intricacies of coaching students, ages 8-adult, and their families. This is an ICF ACSTH approved training focused on solid coaching core competency skill building to provide participants with the skills to apply for a life coaching certification. Ten hours of ICF-required mentoring are included in this program. We teach ADHD coaching skills to provide participants with a better understanding of the neurobiology of the brain necessary to effectively coach and support students with ADHD and Executive Functioning challenges. This section of the training provide the skills necessary for ADHD coaching.

After successful completion of this training, participants will be prepared to apply for the ACC credential through ICF through the ACSTH path. This course includes ALL 10 hours of mentoring required by ICF.

Event Description:

Equipping experienced ICF Credentialed Coaches to provide professional Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing. Participants must hold a minimum of a PCC ICF Credential.

The programme covers an in-depth understanding of the ICF Core Competencies, how the PCC Markers are used for assessment purposes and how to provide effective feedback as a Mentor Coach. It will also provide opportunities to practice Mentor Coaching with other participants as well as engaging with an external Mentee as part of the programme’s curriculum.

As a result of attending this programme, not only will participants meet the requirements of Mentor Coaching and receive 36 CCE units, it will also significantly deepen and enhance their own coaching capabilities. This programme also serves as an advanced coach training programme for anyone who wants to further develop their skills as a coach and acquire more CCE units and coach training hours.

The programme comprises 18 web-based modules and covers a 9-month period. The programme culminates in an assessment process, successful completion of which leads you to receive your Certificate in Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing.

Programme Objectives:
– Develop in-depth understanding of the different roles a coach may have and the specific distinction of Mentor Coaching for Credentialing.
– Develop an in-depth understanding and application of ICF Core Competencies.
– Articulate the difference between ACC and PCC level coaching for each Core Competence.
– Practice, apply the learning and receive feedback through triad practice groups.
– Understand the purpose of giving feedback as a Mentor Coach and to establish best practice of verbal and written feedback.
– Introduce, understand and practice using the ICF PCC Markers as performance evaluation process.
– Understand the roles and responsibilities of an ICF Mentor Coach for Credentialing purposes and to create appropriate documentation.

FELICITAS è un Laboratorio finalizzato ad apprendere e “mettere in pratica” nel quotidiano i principi sulla felicità espressi dai più grandi filosofi e maestri spirituali, del presente e del passato. Il percorso permette quindi di fortificare competenze, atteggiamenti e consapevolezze cha facilitano un benessere personale e un orientamento – di mente e corpo – verso la felicità.

Il laboratorio è anche finalizzato ad apprendere in che modo esprimere e utilizzare questi principi e competenze all’interno di una relazione di coaching, acquisendo le coaching skills che lo consentono e irrobustendo la propria presenza, il proprio mindset e il proprio “saper essere” come Coach.

Il percorso è riconosciuto da ICF come CCE: permette di acquisire 24 crediti CCE (11,5 CC + 12,5 RD).

PROGRAMMA
 -In ogni incontro si affronterà un principio-insegnamento fondamentale sulle felicità, e il pensiero – a riguardo – di alcuni tra i più grandi pensatori e filosofi dell’antichità e della modernità (da Lao Tzu, a Ekhart Tolle, Shopenhauer, Kabat-Zinn, Epicuro, Socrate, Gandhi, San Francesco, il Dalai Lama, Edgar Morin, e tanti altri)
 -Attraverso domande potenti di coaching, esercizi creativi, story telling e momenti di condivisione verrà stimolata una scoperta personale di tale principio
 -Una parte dell’incontro verrà dedicata a comprendere in che modo tale principio possa essere espresso o utilizzato in una relazione di coaching, e in che modo possa essere stimolata un’autoconsapevolezza nei propri coachee. Quindi il percorso permette di affinare le coaching skills ICF, per riuscire ad esprimerle in una modalità più integrale/olistica, che consideri – oltre al piano del “fare” e dei risultati -, anche il piano dell'”essere” e del ben-essere.
 -Ogni incontro si concluderà con un piano d’azione concreto, per sperimentare nella quotidianità il principio esposto. Verranno inoltre suggeriti dei TASK (esercizi pratici) che aiutino la fase applicativa nelle settimane successive all’incontro

Become a Mentor Coach by joining the Mentor Coach Certification Training
Experience an in-depth study and practice to develop your Mentor Coach skills and competencies.

At the end of the 12 week course, you will earn a CMC (Certified Mentor Coach) designation. In addition, you will earn 24 ICF CCEUs (15 in the Core Competencies and 9 in Resource Development.)

The Mentor Coach Certification Training is for you if you are an ICF Credentialed Coach with at least 300 hours of coaching experience who would like to deepen your coaching skills, as well as add mentoring to your coaching services.

There is another option for the 24 ICF CCEUs:
If you prefer, you can choose to use 7 of the hours to fulfill part of your Mentor coaching requirement. If you choose this option, you will split the hours as follows: 8 hours of Core Competencies, + 7 hours of Mentor coaching, + 9 hours in Resource Development.

Equipping experienced ICF Credentialed Coaches to provide professional Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing. Participants must hold a minimum of a PCC ICF Credential.

The programme covers an in-depth understanding of the ICF Core Competencies, how the PCC Markers are used for assessment purposes and how to provide effective feedback as a Mentor Coach. It will also provide opportunities to practice Mentor Coaching with other participants as well as engaging with an external Mentee as part of the programme’s curriculum.

As a result of attending this programme, not only will participants meet the requirements of Mentor Coaching and receive 36 CCE units, it will also significantly deepen and enhance their own coaching capabilities. This programme also serves as an advanced coach training programme for anyone who wants to further develop their skills as a coach and acquire more CCE units and coach training hours.

The programme comprises 18 web-based modules and covers a 9-month period. The programme culminates in an assessment process, successful completion of which leads you to receive your Certificate in Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing.

Programme Objectives:
– Develop an in-depth understanding of the different roles a coach may have and the specific distinction of Mentor Coaching for Credentialing.
– Develop an in-depth understanding and application of ICF Core Competencies.
– Articulate the difference between ACC and PCC level coaching for each Core Competency.
– Practice, apply the learning and receive feedback through triad practice groups.
– Understand the purpose of giving feedback as a Mentor Coach and to establish best practice of verbal and written feedback.
– Introduce, understand and practice using the ICF PCC Markers as a performance evaluation process.
– Understand the roles and responsibilities of an ICF Mentor Coach for Credentialing purposes and to create appropriate documentation.

Program Overview
Prework – Prior to the two-day workshop, you will have access to online video-based training modules to begin your learning about the TDS framework. The self-directed study modules are designed to prepare your to fully maximize your two-day course experience. The modules also serve as a resource center for supporting your ongoing learning and application of the TDS following the program.

Day One – On the first day of the workshop, Ruth Wageman & David Matthew Prior will introduce you to the origins of the TDS framework and survey. Through interactive exercises and case examples you will internalize 6 conditions, 3 key task process and 3 team effectiveness outcomes that comprise the model. You will also examine case examples of the TDS interventions based on real-world teams.

Day Two – On the second day of the workshop, you will get hands on practice diagnosing and coaching teams using the TDS through simulation. This certification workshop is designed to train health coaches with an interest and background in “Holistic Stress Management” to teach, direct or facilitate quality presentations/workshops at their worksite or private practice. The focus of this workshop is holistic—honoring the integration, balance and harmony of mind, body, spirit and emotions for optimal well-being. The World Heath Organization cites stress as “a global epidemic.” Others now call it the “black plague of the 21st century.” In light of current world issues, from international terrorism, economic uncertainty, climate change, work-life imbalance, increases in chronic diseases and everything in between, the words “change” and “stress” are becoming synonymous. It is no secret that people’s coping skills for change are underdeveloped and certainly underutilized. The purpose of this workshop is two-fold: 1) to gain a sound background in a holistic approach to stress management, addressing not only the causes of stress through effective coping skills, but the symptoms of stress with effective relaxation techniques, and 2) to refine excellent teaching skills in which to share this knowledge most effectively, whether it is through a one-hour presentation or a 16 week college credit course.

The Certified Resilience Coach Program (CRCP) will teach you everything you need to know about how to cultivate resilience, joy and vibrant well being in yourself and your clients. Rooted in the latest evidence-based behaviour-change principles this 12-week program addresses all the core competencies of resilience coaching within a single program experience. In this program, you will:

(I) Embody Resilience
Our clients rely on us to be strong, composed and focused. As coaches we need to walk-the-talk and coach from a deeper knowing. This program starts with you developing your own resilience, health and wellbeing.

(II) Coach for Resilience
During CRCP you will learn resilience coaching best practices and take on the role of a resilience coach for 8 weeks. You will support a fellow participant in creating positive sustainable habits and you will apply the skills of “coach as an agent of change”.

(III) Grow your Business
The program includes a done-for-you resilience coaching system. It also allows you to earn 30.5 ICF continuing education credits: 19 core and 11.5 resource; a Certified Resilience Coach designation and offers business opportunities.

HOW YOU WILL LEARN
You will learn experientially: applying the learning to yourself and then coaching another. The program will be delivered in a hybrid model: both in person and online. There will be two live sessions; one near the start and one at the conclusion of the program. The online lessons will be released weekly and will be accompanied by resources to help you cement your learning.
