Event Description:

Equipping experienced ICF Credentialed Coaches to provide professional Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing. Participants must hold a minimum of a PCC ICF Credential.

The programme covers an in-depth understanding of the ICF Core Competencies, how the PCC Markers are used for assessment purposes and how to provide effective feedback as a Mentor Coach. It will also provide opportunities to practice Mentor Coaching with other participants as well as engaging with an external Mentee as part of the programme’s curriculum.

As a result of attending this programme, not only will participants meet the requirements of Mentor Coaching and receive 36 CCE units, it will also significantly deepen and enhance their own coaching capabilities. This programme also serves as an advanced coach training programme for anyone who wants to further develop their skills as a coach and acquire more CCE units and coach training hours.

The programme comprises 18 web-based modules and covers a 9-month period. The programme culminates in an assessment process, successful completion of which leads you to receive your Certificate in Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentialing.

Program Overview
Prework – Prior to the two-day workshop, you will have access to online video-based training modules to begin your learning about the TDS framework. The self-directed study modules are designed to prepare your to fully maximize your two-day course experience. The modules also serve as a resource center for supporting your ongoing learning and application of the TDS following the program.

Day One – On the first day of the workshop, Ruth Wageman & David Matthew Prior will introduce you to the origins of the TDS framework and survey. Through interactive exercises and case examples you will internalize 6 conditions, 3 key task process and 3 team effectiveness outcomes that comprise the model. You will also examine case examples of the TDS interventions based on real-world teams.

Day Two – On the second day of the workshop, you will get hands on practice diagnosing and coaching teams using the TDS through simulation. You will learn specific techniques for feeding back survey data to team leaders and teams; you will explore teambuilding designs and activities for launching and re-launching teams; you will understand key principles and practices for coaching teams using the TDS on an ongoing basis. You will also learn about the latest trends in teaming and how the TDS supports your continued success as a team consultant, coach and/or facilitator.

This program is suitable for coaches:

* Preparing for their MCC credential application and who need 10 hours of mentor coaching, or want to ensure their skill level is at MCC before applying.
* Renewing their MCC, who want up to 24 hours of Core Competency CCEs

This mentor coaching group program has a total of 24 hours of core competency CCE’s that you can use part of toward mentor coaching hours (10 hours), coach-specific training, and/or toward renewing your credential.

This is a combination of group and individual mentoring designed for optimal learning in a small group environment (only 6-10 participants). You have access to an EXCLUSIVE library of 30+ coaching sessions of MCC, PCC and ACC coaching. You will coach a non-coach client in the group environment which provides great learning opportunities. You receive written competency feedback each time you coach.

More and more clients expect from trainers, facilitators, coaches and consultants that they can offer their services virtually/online. Providing synchronous online training is in many ways fundamentally different than face to face training, and requires specific skills from the facilitator. Being unfamiliar with online facilitation, fear of technology, or simply not knowing where to start, may all be barriers to providing online training.

Our programme aims at preparing you to design and deliver online training and facilitation in an interactive way. This means you will learn how to design online training sessions, team meetings, group coaching and webinars that are just as interesting and engaging as those that you deliver in a face-to-face setting. Yes, there are three brains controlling us and our clients.
We have an ‘enteric brain’ otherwise known as your ‘gut brain’ which controls our survival needs and acts in fear or anger hence: fight or flight responses and feeds our EGO. Then there’s the ‘cardiac brain’ which is your ‘heart brain’ and it controls our bonding with other people and that is where we feel love, compassion but also hate. Finally, there’s the ‘head brain’ with three brains inside it (the rational new brain or prefrontal cortex; the emotional middle brain; and the instinctual reptilian brain).
