Event Description:

This is a 130 Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) program, delivered in weekly, 4-hour long, live, on-line sessions. The training consists of 3 steps with total duration of 26 weeks. The long period of gradual learning, combined with a lot of practice and feedback from the trainers, ensure effective development of solid coaching skills and flexibility.

STEP 1

STEP 2

Wisdom of the Whole 30-hour Core Competency Coach Training — A Whole-Person Coaching Model

Our 60-hour program consists of three courses. Our 30-hour Core Competency is the first part and we are connecting weekly via video conference/teleclass to provide our coach training starting June 6, 2018. Our 15-hour Advanced Tools course is the second part in the series, and learners meet weekly from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Pacific. The final Practicum course engages learners weekly from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Pacific. The courses have an online learning component in addition to the scheduled teleclasses.

Event Details: This innovative holistic/integral course teaches you to assist others and even yourself in a transformation process. Learn an extensive array of coaching interventions through a multi-dimensional approach designed to help you see the “big picture” from a holistic and integral perspective. Classes are interactive, fun, practical and informative. You will experience coaching at a deeper body, mind, spirit level that allows people to move more quickly and easily toward goals and dreams. This integrated framework will provide an enjoyable way to develop effective coaching skills such as:

(1) methods for measuring progress
(2) ways to change approaches and create new patterns
(3) somatic or body tools for accessing body wisdom
(4) techniques for learning how to use imagery, intuition, and intentions
(5) meditative tools for being present and working with breath
(6) approaches for how to work with sense of purpose and meaning.

The coaching core competencies as described by the International Coach Federation (ICF) are key to this approach. Earn up to 60 hours of coach specific training that can be applied toward all levels of ICF Coach Certification or 60 CCEUs that can be applied towards the renewal of your credential.

Advanced Tools — Holistic/Integral Techniques for High Performing Coaches!

This course will provide advanced tools, skills, and sensitivities based on our Wisdom of the Whole coaching model, which will enable you to carefully co-create an interactive, embodied conversation that will invite and encourage growth and progress for your clients. Over 20 coaching tools that are embedded in our integral model will be presented. A beginning model for group coaching is also included in this course. Our unique perspective will allow you and your clients to look through multiple windows that facilitate deep exploration and facilitate clear and successful action.

The Advanced Tools course covers 5 topics: Archaic Tools, Intuitive Tools, Mythical Tools, Mental Tools, and Integral Tools. Each live, 2-hour teleclass/video conference will cover 1- 2 topics. When topics are repeated, the focus is the same but demonstrations and examples will be different and different tools within each topic may be covered. You have three months from the start of the course to complete all online coursework and quizzes and attend the teleclasses/video conferences.

Six group sessions- one as coach and five as participant as scheduled for the class

Individual Coaching:

Submit your coach bio, review the compiled bios of classmates, submit your order of preference for interviewing, and then interview three classmates. Be interviewed by three classmates as a prospective coach

Email your preferences for a coach and after you are assigned your coach and your client, schedule five individual sessions each as coach and as client with your partner and trainer as follows: one 30-minute session for co-creating the relationship, five 40-minute coaching sessions, and one 30-minute closing session.

Listen to five recordings of your classmates coaching for your observations.
Submit evaluations of your coach, yourself, and the coaches you observe via recording.

Coaching Practicum:

Six group sessions- one as coach and five as participant as scheduled for the class

Individual Coaching:

Submit your coach bio, review the compiled bios of classmates, submit your order of preference for interviewing, and then interview three classmates. Be interviewed by three classmates as a prospective coach

Email your preferences for a coach and after you are assigned your coach and your client, schedule five individual sessions each as coach and as client with your partner and trainer as follows: one 30-minute session for co-creating the relationship, five 40-minute coaching sessions, and one 30-minute closing session.

Listen to five recordings of your classmates coaching for your observations.
Submit evaluations of your coach, yourself, and the coaches you observe via recording.

Final Report – write about your coaching work

Personal Groundwork for Coaching Program™

COURSE OVERVIEW
In this course participants learn advanced coaching skills to help highlight and explore areas that are often at the source of where a coachee becomes stuck, self-defeating or demotivated. Participants learn how to use the accompanying Personal Groundwork for Coaching Assessment™, a widely-used tool to help coaches move their clients past daily symptoms and into the deeper source of what gets in their way when moving toward bigger and broader goals.The virtual course consists of eight classes held on Mondays from 9:30 – 11 am Pacific / 12:30 – 2 pm Eastern on July 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27 and September 10, 2018.

Coaches, leaders and managers who want to learn advanced coaching skills and techniques for helping coachees discover the root of what is holding them back and how to move toward their goals.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Participants will learn advanced listening, questioning and framing techniques designed to help with the more challenging coaching situations. Advanced skills will focus on helping coachees get to the root, expose blind spots and overcome resistance to change so they can get unstuck and start moving towards their goals. Included in the course is instruction for using the Personal Groundwork for Coaching Assessment™ with coachees.
